All children benefit from having clothes that are fairly loose fitting and easy to get on and off by themselves. Velcro straps on shoes and pull-on trousers are a great advantage, and girls usually find it much easier to pull on trousers rather than struggle into a pinafore and pull-up tights.
Outdoor Clothing
Children will be learning outside in all weathers so it is really important that they have appropriate clothes. They need warm clothes in winter and a sun hat* in the summer and choose coats that allow children to be independent in fastening them up.

PLEASE NAME ALL SCHOOL UNIFORM BROUGHT INTO SCHOOL Please label clothes in easy to see places, such as the neck. Include your child's first name and use lower case letters, as this is what they get used to reading at school. Sew-in labels are great, as the names do not fade with frequent washing |
