HELP - WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD IS ILL

If your child, or indeed any member of your family has a high temperature, new persistent cough or loss of taste or smell DO NOT send your child or their siblings to school and please phone 119 to book a test.

We know it is near impossible to get a test straight away but can only advise you keep trying.

We also know that we are entering the season of coughs and colds, but like you we are not medically trained and able to distinguish which symptoms are Covid 19 and which are not; only a test can confirm this.

As such we are unable to advise you over the phone.

If your child will not be attending school because they, or a family member is unwell with a high temperature, cough or loss of taste or smell please leave an absence message for us letting us know you are awaiting a test and/or it's results.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping to keep our whole school community safe.

Kind regards,

Pip Fairweather

Headteacher
