Vision and Values of our School
Love never Fails
All decisions and actions will come from love. Three main values are evident within this: trust, forgiveness and hope. All in our community know they are loved, we build their trust, we forgive and we move forward with hope and perseverance enabling everyone to flourish in a safe, inclusive environment.
Our vision has its basis in the following passage:
Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protect, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
We believe our Christian values give our children strong foundations to know how to treat others, make good choices and contribute positively to society when they leave us.
Our Aims
To provide a loving, safe and inclusive Christian community in which children flourish; spiritually, morally, academically, socially and culturally.
To provide an inspiring learning environment which provokes curiosity, scaffolds learning and provides challenge, ensuring every child achieves to the very best of their ability.
To engage each child through inspiring teaching and an enquiry-based curriculum, which motivates and challenges all learners.
To promote British values of democracy, the rule of law, liberty, respect and tolerance
To instil a love of learning and growth mind set
To nurture each child’s mental wellbeing and self-esteem
To instil a sense of ‘belonging’ through participation in experiences, which develop understanding and respect for diversity, including different cultures and religions.
To provide opportunities for children to make a positive contribution to their local community and as global citizens
To offer a wide range of creative enrichment activities and experiences which will give our children lifelong memories of their time at primary school
