Sports and Sports Premium
Our pupils have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports and inter-school sporting competitions. We are proud to have achieved the School Games Gold Standard, awarded to just a handful of schools across West Sussex for their commitment to sports. Our facilities include a sports arena, large playing field and hard surface netball court.
We embrace the School Games values of determination, honesty, passion, respect, self-belief and teamwork and encourage those throughout all our sporting activities.
Sports Premium
We are planning to use our Sports Premium funding to target the following areas:
- To improve the engagement of ALL pupils in regular physical activity
- To raise the profile of PE and Sport across the school
- To increase the confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and Sport
- To offer a broader experience of a range of sports and activities to all pupils
- To increase the participation levels in competitive sport
